What kind of products do you sell?
We offer a wide range of over-the-counter and prescription drugs for dogs and cats. This includes vitamins, supplements, flea and tick preventives, dewormers, antibiotics, and other health products.
Are the products you sell authentic and safe?
Yes, all our products are authentic and safe. They are sourced directly from reputable manufacturers and authorized distributors and are registered with the Philippine Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to ensure their quality and efficacy.
Does The Animal Drugstore offer online veterinary consultations or diagnoses?

No, The Animal Drugstore is an online pharmacy and is not able to offer veterinary consultations, diagnoses, or prescriptions. Our pharmacists and veterinarians are here to ensure the safe and proper dispensing of medications, but they cannot replace a physical examination by your veterinarian.

For any health concerns, we strongly recommend you consult with a licensed veterinarian who can provide a proper diagnosis and treatment plan for your pet. They can also provide you with a prescription, which you can then use to purchase the necessary medications from our online store.

Prescriptions and Orders

Do I need a prescription to buy from your pharmacy?
A prescription is required for all prescription-only (Rx) products. For over-the-counter (OTC) products,

no prescription is needed.

What information must be on the prescription?
Valid Veterinary Prescription Requirements (Philippines)

A valid veterinary prescription in the Philippines must contain the following information:

  • Name and contact information of the prescribing veterinarian.
  • The veterinarian’s Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) license number and PTR number.
  • Date the prescription was issued.
  • Pet owner’s name.
  • Pet’s name, species (dog or cat), and weight, microchip (if available).
  • Generic name of the drug, brand name, its strength, and the quantity prescribed.
  • Clear instructions for dosage and administration.
  • Veterinarian’s signature.
How do I submit my pet's prescription?
You can upload a clear photo or scanned copy of your pet’s prescription directly through our website

before the checkout process. We will review the prescription to ensure it is complete and valid before

processing your order.

Can I use an old prescription?

Prescriptions are only valid for up to six (6) months from the date of issue, unless the veterinarian has indicated a specific duration on the prescription.

We can only accept prescriptions that fall within this validity period.

What if I don't have a prescription?

You can still purchase our Over-the-Counter (OTC) products. However, for any prescription-only medication, we will not be able to process your order without a valid prescription.

Shipping and Delivery

Where do you deliver?

We deliver nationwide across the Philippines.

What are your shipping options and fees?

We offer standard shipping only. Shipping fees and estimated delivery times will be calculated at checkout based on your location and the size of your order.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Delivery Timeframe

Delivery times vary depending on your location:

  • Metro Manila: 1–3 business days
  • Provincial Areas: 3–7 business days

 

Please note: Prescription verification and packaging may add an additional day to the processing time.

Payments and Returns

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept GCash to bank transfers. We will be accepting credit and debit card payments soon.

What is your return and refund policy?

Due to the nature of pharmaceutical products, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges unless the product is defective, damaged upon arrival, or if you received the wrong item. However, we cannot accept returns for prescription products due to health reasons such as proper storage, potential tampering, and ensuring the safety of all our products.
